Key Provisions

The Adult Use of Marijuana Act (AUMA) allows adults aged 21 and over to legally possess, use, and share cannabis in specified amounts. It also established a state-regulated system for the commercial cultivation, manufacturing, testing, and distribution of cannabis products.

  • Adults 21+ can possess up to 28.5 grams (about one ounce) of cannabis flower and up to 8 grams of concentrated cannabis.
